Financial Systems Analyst Job In Philadelphia Pa Details: Financial Systems Analyst Job in Philadelphia, PA : The Financial Systems Analyst Job will be responsible for financial systems deployed by the Accounting department, including various financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and billing functions. The Financial Systems Analyst Job responsibilities include coordination of system enhancements, upgrades and conversions, along with technical support for general process improvements and the financial analysis function. The ideal candidate must be able to interface flawlessly with both IT and Finance and act as the communication conduit between these two departments. The Financial Systems Analyst Job will pay in the range of $75k - $82k base, based on experience. The client offers an extremely attractive total compensation package. Essential Duties Financial Systems Analyst: • Supervise IT initiatives and technology project management functions for the Finance department internally and across the firm • Coordinate system enhancements and upgrades, including cost projections, timelines, resource assessments and validation activities with Global IT team, consultants and product vendors. • Manage the AUM reporting process for all internal and external audiences including compliance, marketing, regulators, and parent company • Oversee automated reporting routines and ensure accuracy by investigating data anomalies and programming issues • Support the finance team with data modeling, revenue and expense forecasting and strategic planning functions • Assist the accounting team with workflow automation and process improvement projects • Develop accounting and finance data dashboards and similar executive reporting tools • Document system capabilities, develop training materials and provide instruction and support to end users • Current applications include…. Billing system – Broadridge/Bonaire: Revport Management reporting – Jedox Financial reporting – HFM an d Essbase General ledger –Workday Job Specifications: • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principle • Ability to multi-task and work independently on a variety of concurrent projects • Intellectual curiosity and initiative to investigate, identify and resolve problems • Experience with relational database environments, business intelligence (BI) tools, financial management platforms and accounting systems • Superior oral and written communication skills, including the ability discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences • Familiarity with project management and planning techniques • Experience in the financial services industry a plus; the investment industry a strong plus • Strong background in data management and maintenance Other Duties: • Support the financial analysis role, including core responsibilities and special projects as assigned Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance or related disci pline required • Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role.
